There is a bar here which hosts a Happy Hour every afternoon, offering free drinks to guests to encourage them to mingle. The main pool area as you enter the complex is the heart and soul of Pineapple Point where most guys hang out during the day. The gardens are absolutely stunning – you know they’ve been cultivated by a gay man! Every nook and cranny here is incredibly photogenic, the perfect backdrop for your next thirst-trap. The luxurious rooms are all hidden within the lush tropical garden spread over 6 buildings. It's pricier than the others but worth every cent! This is a real treat!Although located a bit of a drive away from the gay beaches of Fort Lauderdale it was one of the best gay hotels in the city. Another thing we also loved about it was the ease with which you can strike up a conversation with other guests and quickly make new friends. The Spa is a must! The masseurs are really talented and give you fantastic advice on posture and exercises you can do to help massage your muscles by yourself. Over in the back of the complex is the second building with another 2 floors of rooms with the outdoor clothing-optional hot tub – an area that gets super busy in the later darker hours of the day! The front part of Grand Resort includes a pool area which has the first lot of rooms surrounding it over two floors. The Grand Resort also hosts occasional events such as nudey parties and more.Īs soon as you enter inside the Grand Resort, the testosterone hits you – this is one gay haven you won’t want to leave in a hurry! However, it’s friendly with zero attitude and men of all shapes and sizes in their 30s and older. It’s conveniently located a few blocks back from the main beach, tucked away in a quiet residential area which affords it plenty of privacy.
